Engine and Performance:

The 2021 Nissan Altima comes with a standard 2.5 liter engine that develops 188 hp of power and is mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). This engine gets the option of AWD (All Wheel Drive) as well. Another engine option is a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged powertrain that produces 248 hp of power. This engine is present in the SR trim. As visible above, the turbo engine makes the car significantly quicker.

Ride is comfortable, and no shudders can be felt on bad roads. Steering wheel standards are fine for a family sedan.

Exterior Appearance:

Exterior styling of this vehicle appears fresh in the current avatar, considering the previous versions. However, expect a redesign to arrive in a few years. The front light housings have been neatly integrated into the signature V Motion grille. Two lines of design can be seen on the center. One sharp line starts on the side and runs all along. Nissan uses a floating roof design on most of its trims. LED daytime running lights are available as standard on the SR and Platinum trims.

LED taillights are not available on the Platinum trim. By using the key, the massive trunk can be opened from the outside.

Interior Appearance:

The front door gets soft touch material on the Platinum trim. Memory seats are also available. Illuminated Altima door sills are also available. Contrast stitching can be seen on the door panels. Nissan gets zero gravity seats on the Platinum. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available here and is very user friendly.

Heated seats and standard AC control are available. Storage space is suitable on the center console. Cup holders are also available here. The arm rest also gets soft touch material, and it houses a large amount of space. Seat controls for the passenger are manual, while it is 8-way adjustable for the driver.

Seats in the 2021 Nissan Altima are very comfortable. The sedan gets a flat bottom steering wheel. The dashboard is easy-to-use, and a 7-inch display can be seen here. Blind Spot Monitoring can be seen on the doors, to quickly see who is in the blind spot.

Rear AC vents are not available. Headroom and legroom are generous. 15.43 cubic feet of cargo space is available.
